Another fun weekend!

Mallory and Lauren stayed the weekend with us and we had a blast! Mallory is the cuties baby and I can't wait for Mallani to be that age. Jim taught her to say, "Daddy, I need Diamonds!" She is at the age that she repeats everything, so you know we had fun with that. Emma taught her to say, " Momma wants a toddy!" It was great. She would carry my purse around the house and she had to have her "poo-pops" on, which were her flip flops. We would ask her where she was going, and she would say, " I go to work Mrs. Wawnin." And then I would ask her were she works, and she would say, "I work at El Dorado!" How funny is that! They even had matching Razorback dresses to wear for the game. We had a blast and we hope that they come back and stay with us soon.

I also took a few pictures of Mallani that I wanted to share to show how big that girl is getting.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Fun with the McNulty's

This past weekend we went to our good friends house, Tabitha and Kelly McNulty,to watch the Razorback game. We always have so much fun hanging out with them and it was especially good for Mama because I got to get out of the house. Max, their son, who is a doll by the way, was especially interested in Mallani. He wanted to give her toys, read her books, and play with her the whole time. He kept on saying, " Mrs. Wauren, I read to Lani, I hold Lani?" It was adorable. Tabitha is having a little girl in January and we are thrilled. I know that baby Maggie and Mallani are going to be great friends. Here are some of the pictures that we took of the two of them together. I hope everyone has a great week!

Happy Birthday Mama Jo & Mallani and Austin Easley party pics!

Today was my grandmothers birthday, so we decided to come to Pine Bluff to see her at Trinity. Plus Jim is out of town working, so any extra help I can get is awesome. She was so excited to show Mallani off to all of her friends it made her day. It amazes me how many people have been praying for our baby girl since the day she was born. There is no doubt in my head that without those thoughts and prayers, Mallani would probably not be here today. As my friend Emma likes to call her, baby "La-Miracle."

Also, Hailey and I took some picture of Austin and Mallani togher the other night. It's amazing to see the difference in their sizes considering Mallani was only born 3 weeks after Austin. But the doctors told me to judge Mallani by her due date, not her birth date. I know Mallani will catch up to Austin soon and they will be the bestest friends like their mothers. p.s. How cute is Austin??? What a doll!

Prayers for Avie & Harrison

I have a special prayer request for a dear friend of mine, Avie Hardin. She recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Harrison Hardin. He was born when Avie was only 26 weeks pregnant, weighing 2lbs 2oz. This baby was a miracle to Avie and all of her friends because she lost a baby girl a few years ago at 23 weeks.

Everyone who reads this blog knows the long road I have been down with Mallani, being born at 27 weeks. I know that there is no way possible that I would have made it through this long journey without each and everyone of your thoughts, prayers, and continued kindness. I feel blessed and I am so thankful that I have a beautiful baby girl here, at home with me.

As happy as I am, I also feel the pain and know what Avie will be going through for the next few months. So I ask that everyone please say a prayer for little angel Harrison Hardin. He has the best parents in the world. We just need for him to get big and healthy so he can come home soon.

Thanks Everyone!

Aunt Susan

Jim's sister, Susan, from Sarasota Florida, came to Forrest City to meet Mallani for the first time this past weekend. We had a really low key weekend, but it was so good to see her because she lives so far away and I know Mallani enjoyed every minute of it. She has spoiled Mallani rotten, but this weekend they got to spend lots of quality time together. Here are some pictures of them together...

Aunt Susan told Mallani multiple times, "Important stuff--Rolex, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, and "it's just as easy to love a rich man as it is to love a poor man." ;)
